Basic Itinerary

Day 1 & 2: On arrival in Port Elizabeth and after collection of your rental vehicle, depart for your  beachfront guest house in Port Elizabeth, for a two night stay.   Whilst there are a number of activities to enjoy in and around the beachfront area, ranging from golf, swimming, sightseeing, shopping at the many stalls etc, a guided day tour of the city, together with a visit to two of the local game parks situated on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth, is included.

Day 3 & 4: After a stay in the "Friendly City", depart for Koffylaagte Game Lodge & Tented Camp, .a private country retreat offering a game viewing experience, which is roughly a 2 hour drive from the city. With a choice of farm-inspired family or luxury couples accommodation, you will be treated to two days of delicious Karoo cuisine, a host of outdoor activities ranging from quad bike, walking or horseback trails and game drives, or simply relaxing and taking in the wonderful Karoo scenery. A guided day tour to the Addo Elephant National Park is not to be missed!

Day 5 & 6:  Leave the Game Lodge and set off for Oyster Bay via Port Elizabeth.  During this delightful journey, it is recommended that you stop off to visit the "surfers paradise" of Jeffrey's Bay and the picturesque canal village of St Francis Bay, en route to Oyster Bay, before continuing your journey to your lodge, situated on a natural, coastal reserve between Port Elizabeth and Knysna.  During your two day stay here, you may enjoy a horseback ride through the dunes and along the beachfront, mountain biking, fishing, swimming or even a romantic picnic on one of the viewing decks.

Day 7: After a leisurely breakfast, you may check out of your lodge and depart for the airport in line with your departure details.

  The cost of the programme includes all day tour fees, entries and permits

  The stays in Port Elizabeth and Oyster Bay are on a bed and breakfast basis; all stays at Koffylaagte are on a full board basis

  Accommodation is at a choice of 4 star boutique establishments

• The cost of the programme excludes domestic and international flights, a rental vehicle or a rental vehicle plus a driver.
